Each camera is equipped with Nigh Vision for up to 30m, and smart infra-red sensors that capture clear night time footage. Our cameras are built to work outdoors and endure the elements. Each camera is IP66 rated – a very high rating of the camera's resistance to moisture, dust, tools and other foreign objects. Like most IP CCTV Security Cameras, the appropriate field of view is important. Here the lens sizes are explained in degrees to help you make your decision. Our recommendation for a CCTV Camera in a smaller room would be a 2.8mm lens (110 Degrees FOV), which would see down both walls if placed in the corner of the room. Whilst we would recommend a narrower 4mm (75 Degrees FOV) lens for a Security Camera in an outdoor car park. While ultimately we would suggest a 12mm (23 Degrees FOV) lens if you wish to focus your CCTV Camera on a vehicle entry gate that is 50m away.
